This is a nonprofit program design to help, motivate, and promote our local artists community on to a national level

Clean Cut - Be On Air
This is an original artist contest. A full PA and stage production will be available.
This contest will take place at West Beach Tavern on a monthly basis in order to promote local talents and expose them to the local and national market. This monthly event meant to gather musicians, songwriters, and singers in order to generate and breed extraordinary artists that focus on quality product. Whether if you'll win or lose, coming as a guest or as a contestant, you will gain experience, stimulate ideas, network, and gain friendships.

Who can compete: You must be 21 years of age or older. All contestants must be amateur entertainers and obtain original music that will be performed on stage. Professional entertainers (union musicians or whose talent is a principle source of income) are not permitted to enter. Registration: All contestants must submit an entry form. Only one song (up to 3 performers) can be performed per application form.

To enter the contest:
Please send us an email with your original song of your choice, in the proper format, to CleanCutBeOnAir@gmail.com.
Once approved, please stop by West Beach Tavern within 48 hours, fill a formal application and pay a nonrefundable entry fee in cash or credit to secure your attendance.
Entry fee is $100.00 per one artist.

***upon signing in artists will receive head-shots package worth of $150, to be used in promotional manners*** 

Contest and Judging:
all songs should be submitted in a MP3 format and in radio ready production stage.
No curse words or offensive language are allowed.

Song must maintain clean and clear verbal message.

Song should not exceed 4 minutes.

Song must fit Hip Hop ,Reggae R&B or Soul genre

All contestants in the final three will receive prizes.

All contestants will have access to the VIP area.

All artists to be in the building by PM 8:00 the day of the event.

Artists will not be assigned time slots. Slots will be randomly picked at 8:30pm the day of the event.

Winning artists must be present at the time of the winners announcement.

The judges will select 3 winners to be ranked 1st 2nd and 3rd


1st place: $500 cash

Minimum of one time play on local radio station
Appearance on local TV network

2nd place: $200 cash

Minimum of one time play at local events

3rd place: $100 cash

All contestant will be considered to perform at local shows

All contestant will be considered to open for a national artist at a bigger venue, once booked.

All participants release West Beach Tavern, their employees and sponsors from any liability resulting from their performance and attendance at this event. All participants give West Beach Tavern and media sponsors unrestricted authorization to use their name, photo, voice recording, video recording, entry materials or likeness in promotional materials without further compensation. West Beach Tavern reserve the right to disqualify any contestant whose performance does not meet the contest rules, and regulations, local media outlets standards, and West Beach Tavern expectations.
